A Message from MEDCOMM’s PDS Division


The formation of MEDCOMMs Professional Development Services Division in late 2007 represented the culmination of our professional ambitions. Our objective was to build a home grown, trusted institution that offers services to help create the talent needed to strengthen civil society and their participation within a fiercely competitive private sector in the Gulf. We will do this by offering novel candidate-oriented services using a holistic, cultural based approach, specific to the MENA region in order to tackle the root causes of the lack of professional talent in the business world. Our recent successes are directly proportional to the paucity of candidate oriented services in the current market.

The business environment in this century demands that both organizations and individuals continually respond to evolution, change and transformation, with little or no support given to the individuals within these organizations both academic and professional in nature. For the past 13 years in the MENA region, we have been intimately involved in helping companies source talent for recruitment purposes. Having successfully built trusted relationships with many HR decision makers in major organizations across the MENA region, we have a solid understanding of what employers look for in a successful candidate as well as how to recognize and nurture peoples potential.

Today, we are taking our strategy to the next level with the idea of helping the individual plan and achieve their academic and career goals in order to become successful, productive a member of society. We are sharing our insights with candidates in order to identify gaps and opportunities to better themselves, and then plan courses of action that will enable them to perform at the highest professional level. We believe we have a unique combination of consulting, technology and outsourcing training capabilities and will draw upon these advantages to create long-term value for government and private enterprises alike in the form of future talent that they will be able to utilize for the benefit of their organizations and society at large.
