1. Executive Management
Naser Karmi Managing Director and Managing Partner
Naser is the Managing Director and Technical advisor. His role is to manage and lead the company growth and act as an advisory to MEDCOMM Board of directors. His advisory role in the field of communications comes with long experience in the field. He was a senior staff in the IBM DB2 Technology Center, where he was a chief architect for the Application Development Strategy of the Workstation DB2 Tools. He was involved in the design and development of several software projects, including IBM VisualAge C++ family of products, Distributed tools, and IBM CASE. He was also a chief architect in IBM Client/Server Technology Center. He has consulted with many agencies and international organizations including, AT&T, GM, IBM, HP, Microsoft, Quebec and Canadian federal government, US Atomic Energy, Royal Insurance of UK, University of AlAin, Islamic Bank and The Arab Bank.
Mr. Karmi has authored many journals and refereed conference papers, including the IBM Center for Advanced Studies. He published two books, one in the Field of Software Internationalization and one in the Client/Server area. He served as the Chair, of the IBM Application Development Technology's Intellectual property from 1994-1996.
Mr. Karmi, hold a M.Sc. in Computer Engineering Science from The City University of New York. He also holds three patents and 4-invention disclosures worldwide, all in the field of Object Oriented Data Bases, and Distributed Communication Technology. He has been the recipient of several awards from the industry leaders including IBM Invention plaque. John Morris Senior Advisory Consultant
John Morris is a highly energetic and flexible individual specializing in the identification, development and operational management of telecommunication products and services. He has a considerable worldwide sales and marketing experience having worked directly in 108 Countries (GSM, Wireless and PTT Operators).
John holds a Bachelor degree in Business studies from England. As a vise president and director of subsidiaries of MILLICOM (MIC), John has dealt with many ISPs and Sub-operators. His knowledge in this field expands +20 years.
Working alone or as the head of a team, John has completed many large projects requiring high-level negotiation in both government and commercial sectors. He has experience working in the telecommunications, defense and security printing industries and a working knowledge of the financial, oil and general trading sectors. Having worked directly in 108 countries, John brings to the team an extensive U.K. and worldwide experience.
Tismark Inja Senior Consultant
Tismark Inja is the Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Gracewell Communications Co. Ltd. Gracewell is a highly innovative telecommunication enterprise specializing in cellular and VSAT. He is also Managing Director of Welsing Ventures, which is a telecommunication commercial entity that markets communication equipment. He is also the director of Edward S. Ayensu Associates, a science technology and economic consultancy firm. Tismark is also a member of the Board of directors of MILLICOM, Ghana, and a Senior Executive consultant to MEDCOMM.
Tismark has excellent contacts with Ministries of communication, chief directors, Head of Departments as well as Post master generals. Furthermore, ha has been serving as a consultant to various telecommunication companies such as Hughes Network Systems, MILLICOM International and Fountainhead Group in Switzerland. Tismark is an Oxford graduate in the department of commerce.
2. Principle Investigators
Paul B. Joseph Consultant
Paul Joseph is a MEDCOMM business consultant stationed at Huston Texas. He started his career as a professor at Huston community college where he lectured on management, staff training financial analysis and other related courses. He then served as a campaign manager for Barbara C. Jordan, the first black congresswoman in the United States.
His political career started as a spokesperson for Senator Barbara and soon he became the coordinator for all functions related to the district of Huston, including the Oil and Gas Industry, which is a very powerful lobby in Huston as well as Washington.
He then became the chief operating officer for a chemical and manufacturing corporate where he started to strengthen his ties with Africa and the Middle East.
Mr. Paul founded and chaired a non-profit relief organization to airlift and focus on Africa. His work in Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia and other countries have ,made him a very reputed and respected figure. His personal relationship and friendship with Mr. George W. Bush, the previous United States President, made him even more prominent in Africa and the Gulf States. Mr. Paul is a senior consultant with MEDCOMM and a master planner for the cross Atlantic operations.
David McFadden Managing Consultant - UK and Africa
David has been working in the Information and Communication Industries for 20 years.He obtained his BSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Uppsala in Sweden. He started his working career in UK then moved to Yemen, Saudi Arabia. David then moved to Africa and took several consultancy engagements with British Companies and US. David worked with AK Associates in Nigeria and managed their Joint Venture with British Telecom. More recently, In 1996 David was a part of the bid team for the purchase of 30% of Ghana Telecom together with the Management control.
The bid was joint between British Telecom, Telconsult, Commonwealth Development Corporation and HSBC Bank. David is also on the advisory board of the Telecom License holders in Nigeria for a Joint Venture with ASCOM for the GSM deployment. David has managed many projects in the Customer Care and Billing arena including: Algeria, Austria, Ghana, Hong Kong, Tanzania, South Africa Namibia, Liberia, Libya, Yemen Arab Republic. David is now a Managing Consultant working with MEDCOMM on number of telecommunication systems around the world.
David Chipperfield Senior Project Manager/Director
David is an Experienced practitioner in Project Management and Bid Management in a wide range of IT and Business scenarios, covering all aspects of a project life cycle, including software development, systems integration, and consultancy. He is also experienced in all commercial aspects of Integration Services e.g. Contract Negotiations, Risk Management and Project costing and accounting
David is also has a Considerable experience with partner/sub-contractor management and back-to-back contract negotiations, and management of deliverables to Tandem as the Prime Contractor. Also a number of years experience in working with large multinational Consultancy and Actuarial companies. Overall, David has 32 years overall IT experience, including 18 years working for end user companies in system selection and solution implementation, in the Pensions, Investments, Banking, Finance, and Manufacturing Industries.
Gamal Metwally Systems Integration Director
Gamal comes to MEDCOMM with 15 years of experience in the ICT Project management. Mr. Metwally has many awards and grants for excellent leadership, team development, exceeding expectation, innovations and dedication. He took responsibility of a team leader at Nortel Networks to lead the new development of contact centers and IVR.
