I couldn’t be more pleased to lead this great enterprise during a period of rapid evolution within the Global Information Communication Technology Industry. Over the years we at MEDCOMM have witnessed drastic changes in the standards of operation and technologies employed within the industry. In many cases, we have been at the forefront of the transformations, symbiotically raising client expectations while guiding regional business to meet these expectations and evolve into key players on the international stage. Since our establishment in 2001, we have worked with the sector’s key players to identify innovative solutions to the problems they face while being acknowledged for our impartiality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and quality of work. Our key success initiative is the forward future thinking which usually helps our clients to turn the future into revenue; as such clients would know what they really need to know to shape their future.
In spite of the current economical hardship, today we are pleased to announce that in the year 2009, we surpassed our achievements for the prior year and our repeat customers are still in increase. This is not a surprise, MEDCOMM has been on the achievement ladder since inception. Our revenue and net profit is on the increase year after year. This would not be healthy if MEDCOMM does not maintain its client growth as well. This past year has seen a gamut of fruitful changes which have added tremendous value to business. The key to our success remains a passion for continual innovation and an uncompromising demand for delivering the best possible and apt solutions to our clients in these trying times of economic challenges.
We realize that each project is unique, requiring a custom approach to a holistic solutions development. Over the years we have developed unparalleled industry knowledge and resourcing capabilities which we use to give our clients a competitive advantage in solutions development and execution. In the previous year, we became the first consulting enterprise in the MENA Region to deploy ethnographic researchers alongside consultants. These researchers specialize in extracting requirements from clients, understanding how end-users and administrators interact with technologies in order to optimize processes and make technology more user-friendly.
Investing in our human capital as well as research and development ensures that we remain at the forefront of the global ICT best practice scenarios, shaping future performance bench marks, advising governments on policy and regulation. For the past 32 years, I have enjoyed building my career with international firms and global IT companies. The opportunity to create MEDCOMM and work more intensively with clients in the MENA region was seized with the anticipation of great challenges. Among them was the cultivation of much needed local talent within the ICT field. In 2008 we took the first steps towards addressing this issue. We launched the first series of ICT training initiatives under our ‘Professional Development Services’ banner. This involved the introduction of previously unavailable high caliber educational and vocational training curricula, tailored specifically towards ICT practice in the Region. MEDCOMM offered this service to pre-existing clients as part of a more comprehensive solutions package but will also make it available to individuals seeking to develop their skill sets.
Our success is based upon the following principles:
- We provide increased value to our clients through superior knowledge and service. Our staff is extremely experienced, averaging 15 years per person. However, we maintain a lean staffing strategy. This combination provides an efficient delivery system for services to our clients with collaboration with other experts in allied fields.

In the last eight years I had the pleasure to work side by side with these exceptional individuals and derive greater hopes for their future development.
